Easter is in less than four weeks, so that means we are already decorated and baskets/eggs have been filled to set out for the girls on April 1st. Hopefully there are no tricks involved, since it is "Fools Day" as well, things could get a little silly, blame it on the silly rabbit. Anyway, now that all of that is out of the way I can enjoy this time with family and reflecting this Lenten Season.
Now the fun, filling the Easter baskets, which are my favorite because they are fun to put together and require no wrapping, unlike Christmas. Growing up I can remember our baskets always consisted of the following:
1. Book/Magazine
2. Summer Outfit
3. Swimwear
4. Something that required going outside
5. Barbie, etc.
6. Candy
7. Little toys/gadgets/crafts (that were popular at the time)
Soooo here you go, some ideas to help you get your baskets completed before the end of the month.
Basket:
The below are the basket I have for the girls with the bunny liner added to it; I have the large for Charlotte and the small version for Caroline, they honestly hold so much it is perfect. They are worth the money and to change things up you can purchase a new liner every three years or so.

Pottery Barn Kids (currently 20% off)

Girl Bunny Liner (new version of what I have for the girls)

Girls Fillings:

Interactive books, it plays music.

Touch and feel, this one is a classic.
2. Collectables/blind packs/bags: the girls especially my oldest love all of these and to be surprised with what they get. Thanks goodness some are as low as $2.99 per pack.
LOL Dolls | LOL Mermaid Surprise, these are "add to cart" ready on Walmart.com | Hatchimal Colleggtible | Care Bears Figurines, Caroline (my 18 month old) love these things.
3. Target dollar section finds (check your local section): UV sunglasses, bunny bubbles, stickers, Disney punch balloons, magic marker mini books, flash cards and learning to write letters.

5. Clothing (Summer outfit or Swimwear, your choice):

Eyelet Sunsuit (newborn - 24months)

Ruffle Lemon Dress (2T - 5T)

Hoppy Shopping Ladies, and dont forget to add in some candy or whatever satisfies your sweet tooth. I'll be adding Annie's Homegrown Bunny Snacks and mini M&M's to the girls baskets. Hope this mini basket guide helped. I may add some boy ideas, so stay tuned for that.
Easter Bunny Visit:

Baby Girls Easter Bunny Tee Set (12-24 month version)
Little Girls Easter Bunny Set (2T - 6X version)
Charlotte - my 3.5 year old was wearing a size 2T in the below photo, it fit like capris on her but still a comfortable sizing for her, currently weighs 30lbs. It also fits my 18 month old, whom is 26lbs., with extra room to grow and like pants instead of capris. So it is your choice, fits true to size.
*the above outfit was partnered with Rare Editions, all opinions are my own.
