I was approached a few weeks ago by a beloved toy company of ours, Melissa and Doug Toys. The girls absolutely love all of the products on the market from this company and we knew we would be a great fit for the campaign. Who doesn't love a bunch of new toys for pretend play and something to look forward to each week. When the packages started to arrive we sorted the items into the best fit categories for the campaign: toys for the water, planes/trains, staycation, rainy day, road-trip and outdoors. Stay tuned each week to see what we come up with and where the toys get to vacation, they should get to see the world instead of shelf lives, etc.
Now the fun stuff, week one focused on toys for the water. We grabbed some of the toys and headed to a nearby pool. Let me tell you, these simple toys entertained the girls for hours. When you use your imagination the sky is the limit. Think: swim games, matching numbers/colors, sharks and turtles (similar to sharks and minnows), capture the turtles, etc.
