The Saturday Steal - Series 1


Hi friends & Happy Saturday! I have decided to add a new series to the blog in anticipation for the holidays, I am launching a "The Saturday Steal," segment. If all goes well I will continue weekly or possibly one large post at the beginning of each month. Would love to hear what y'all prefer?? Each item will be under $25.00, woohoo.


 
 For those that are new to following along, I am Lauren, lover of coordinating/matching, mother to two daughters (Charlotte and Caroline), with a passion for photography and huge Lilly Pulitzer fan! The guy in the above photo is my hubby, Kyle. The one behind the lens when I am in the frame, he is such a trooper and deserves all the praise for putting up with my crazy and ideas. Love you babe.
 
Let's talk about velvet clothing ... some love it while others would rather leave it out of their wardrobe. I tend to "love" all of it and simply cant get enough of it in my closet. I popped into our local Old Navy last week, to my surprise found lots of velvet - leggings, tops, dresses, even shoes. Of course I wanted it all especially at the price point. Who doesn't love that? You can keep up with the times, look trendy and not break the bank. Thanks Old Navy for doing this time and time again. Offering affordable trendy styles that can be used in various ways to achieve multiple looks.
 I then bounced over to Target and found my new favorite pair of jeans, y'all they are under $25 and very well made. I would go up a size or reference the size chart because they are high waisted. Have worn them 4x already and washed twice, yet the distressed parts to the jeans still look new. Oh, did I mention they are called "Mom Jeans?" So, yes you too need to add them to your closet.
