Happy New Year, and with that said it's that time of year to begin a new decade with the best sale to kick-off the year. It's almost time for the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale (which only happens 2x a year). I'm sharing tips/takeaways and some sneak peeks in this post, so grab your cup of coffee, it's time to learn all you need to know for the best shopping experience.
WHEN:
In stores: Saturday January 4th - Sunday January 5th
(call your local store to see what time they will be opening)
Online: Monday January 6th - Tuesday January 7th
Sale begins at 8AM(ish) EST.
WHAT:
You will find all things Lilly Pulitzer included in the sale ... clothing, children's, shoes, accessories and much more; in a variety of prints, styles and on major markdown. All purchases are final sale, so keep that in mind when shopping.
TIPS/TAKEAWAYS:
1. Charge all are your electronic devices the night before, and get in the virtual line a little beforehand. You can do so by going to www.lillypulitzer.com and you will be added in the que. DO NOT refresh your browser once you are in line, it will place you at the end of the line and you might experience a glitch. Just be patient, there are many items to go around.
2. Set a budget and plan ahead of time, know sizing on certain styles you are eyeing. Trust me with prices this good it is easy to go overboard. I am told a new product drop will be added the morning of Tuesday January 7th as well, so be on the lookout for that.
3. If you haven't created an account, make sure you do so prior to the sale; this will save you a lot of time on sale day and maximize you scoring your musts. If you have an active account, login to it, verify all information is up to date and save.
4. Grab your MUST items first, checkout and then get back in line or access through another device (I tend to get in the virtual line with at least two - three devices). Just because an item is in your cart doesn't guarantee it is yours. It's FREE SHIPPING, so you can checkout as many times as need be.
5. Have fun shopping, its the time to purchase that splurge worthy dress, or a baby shower gift for an upcoming mom/mini moment, and so much more.
