Peppa Pig Theme Park

Oh Goody, time to join in and jump in muddy puddles with Peppa and George at the Peppa Pig Theme Park, located in Winter Haven, FL. Located just 45 minutes from Orlando and Tampa areas. The girls and I were invited to attend a media (preview) day prior to the park opening, what a oinktastic day we had. I’m going to share what you can expect and more in the post, hope it helps prior to your visit. Peppa can’t wait to welcome all her new friends.

Theme Park Quick Guide

The theme park has many different areas, as shown on the map below.

Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster is in the middle of all of the fun that surrounds it. You’ll find play areas for children with sensory guides and more in one section, plus an outdoor stage for character shows and meet/greet with Peppa and George. Then make your way to the Fun Fair (this was the girls favorite) with two rides and lots of free fair games to be played. After playing in this section you’ll pass the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad and Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tours (restrooms, gift shop, The Cinema and The Diner are here as well). In the last section of the park you can ride Grandad Dog’s Pirate Island Boat Ride, play in the sand and venture to Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure. There is so much to see, play and explore at this new theme park.

*minimum height requirements are posted outside at each ride.

Know Before You Go

If you plan to entertain the water area with you children, be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen (changing stalls are located within the splash pad area). Lots of chairs and umbrellas for parents/care-takers to watch their children in this area. Be prepared though you could get splashed by the Muddy Puddles yourself. At the moment, the only food option was at Miss Rabbit’s Diner and a drink/ice cream cooler in Mr. Fox’s Shop. The girls really liked the pizza and Muddy Puddle’s Milk Shake and Mud Cup. If your planning a trip soon, plan to bring neck fans for you and your kids, as we are getting into the warmer Florida months. Lots of shaded picnic tables through out the park, bring a snack and sit amongst the colorful atmosphere and listen to all the sounds within the theme park. Trust me, by the time you leave you will be singing the official theme song and have a Peppa accent.

If you driving from afar there is the LEGOLAND Pirate Island Hotel, located on property, just minutes from the Peppa Pig Theme Park entrance.

Autism Certified

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards has partnered with Peppa Pig Theme Park to open as a Certified Autism Center. All staff have been trained and through out the park guests will see sensory guides posted on all play/interactive/attraction areas. These guides provide insight on what is to be expected for a child with sensory processing issues. More information can be located at Guest Services.

The Showtime Arena

The perfect place to take a break, and interact in the two live shows. One is an interactive show with Peppa and the other is an interactive Treasure Hunt Adventure with Peppa/George and a staff member. Meets and Greets (socially distanced) will follow after the show. During the shows in the outdoor arena you can relax on large beanbags or on one of Peppa’s hills or picnic tables.

Peppa Pig officially opens on February 24, 2022. Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $30.99 or at the ticket office for $34.99 upon arrival. If your plan is to visit both parks on property, bundled tickets are available. At this time, a limited number of annual passes are available for $74.99 plus tax. Lots of spots to pose, capture a memory and see all the characters for the Peppa Pig Show, the girls loved seeing and naming everyone. At all spots, you can listen to commentary from the show.
